Protein concentrates

Protein concentrates are raw materials or ingredients with a relatively high crude protein content compared to the original raw material. They can originate from plant sources, such as soybeans, peas, or potatoes, or from animal or microbial sources.

In animal feed, protein concentrates are used to optimize the protein level and amino acid profile of rations. They are especially important in young animal feed, aquafeed, and high-producing animals, where protein quality determines growth, production, and health.
