Bypass Soybean Meal High Protein has been developed as a high-quality protein ingredient for ruminants that need to deliver top performance. Through a special treatment process, the soybean meal is transformed to significantly increase the proportion of rumen-protected (bypass) protein. Where standard soybean meal is largely broken down during rumen fermentation, this advanced technology ensures that a major part of the protein bypasses the rumen and becomes directly available in the small intestine. This provides the cow with valuable amino acids exactly where they can be utilized most efficiently.
Increased bypass protein: from 42% to 75%
A key differentiating advantage of this product is its strongly increased bypass fraction. The share of rumen-protected protein rises from approximately 42% to as much as 75%. As a result, the animal receives more functional amino acids for milk synthesis and muscle development, without losing most of the protein in the rumen. This makes the ingredient especially suitable for high-producing dairy cows and intensive beef cattle rations.
Higher milk protein and improved nitrogen efficiency
As protein utilization improves, nitrogen efficiency is also significantly enhanced. Less unused nitrogen is excreted, providing both economic and sustainability benefits.
