Advanced Seawater-Based Mineral & Bioactive Technology

Immutines™ is a premium, low-sodium liquid concentrate derived directly from natural seawater through controlled wet-filtration — never dried or heated, preserving full biological activity. With sodium chloride reduced by approximately 95% to around 1.5%, it combines trace mineral nutrition and marine bioactivity in one integrated matrix.

Immutines™ and North American Sea-Crop® share the same technology platform. Unlike conventional mineral sources derived from salt deposits, Immutines™ retains its natural biological complexity. This makes it not just a mineral input, but a biologically active ingredient suitable for fertilizer and biostimulant formulations, interacting with both plant and soil systems.

Unique composition

Immutines™ combines mineral density with biological functionality in one integrated matrix. The product contains more than 80 trace elements in ionic, directly absorbable form, supported by fulvic acids containing over 50,000 organic compounds for chelation and nutrient transport.

In addition, it includes marine bioactive compounds derived from algae and phytoplankton, mucopolysaccharides such as DMSP associated with plant regulation under stress conditions, and an organic fraction consisting of peptides, carbohydrates and metabolites. Plant hormones, enzymes and melatonin-related compounds are also present, contributing to plant balance and physiological responses under varying environmental conditions.

Mode of action in plant and soil

The combination of trace elements and bioactive compounds is associated with the activation of enzymatic processes in both plant and soil. This is linked to enhanced photosynthesis, improved energy dynamics (ATP) and more efficient nutrient utilization.

  • Activation of enzymes and metabolic processes
  • Increased pigment production and photosynthetic capacity
  • Root development may be supported (up to 20–30% larger root systems)
  • Enhanced root exudation associated with stimulation of soil microbiology
  • Support of nitrogen-related microbial activity in the rhizosphere

Proven performance

Research and field applications have shown consistent improvements in crop performance parameters:

  • Antioxidant capacity: +29–37%
  • Nutrient uptake: +9–20%
  • Dry matter: +4–19% (up to 30%)
  • Improved Brix, shelf life and nutrient efficiency
  • Enhanced tolerance to abiotic and biotic stress

Documented yield observations under trial conditions include:

  • Tomato: +18.7%
  • Soybean: +14.6%
  • Sweet potato: +8.3%

Commercial value across the supply chain

The use of Immutines™ is associated with measurable value throughout the supply chain:

  • Extended shelf life and reduced post-harvest losses
  • Higher dry matter and nutritional value per kilogram
  • Improved product quality and market positioning
  • Reduced dependency on crop protection inputs
  • Improved export quality and MRL compliance
