Oligopeptide
Short-chain peptides, also called oligopeptides, are short chains of amino acids linked together by peptide bonds. The line between oligopeptides and polypeptides is vague. When referring to 'oligopeptide', it usually means a peptide chain consisting of two to ten amino acids. The number of amino acids in an oligopeptide can be up to 20. Short-chain peptides are stable and do not break down during absorption.
