Oligopeptide
Short chain peptides, also known as oligopeptides, are short chains of amino acids that are connected to each other by peptide bonds. The boundary between oligopeptides and polypeptides is vague. When one speaks of 'oligopeptide', it usually means a peptide chain consisting of two to ten amino acids. The number of amino acids in an oligopeptide can go up to 20. Short chain peptides are stable and do not collapse during absorption.
