Force Feed

Force feed is available in pellets. Force feed contains many fibers. These fibers have a useful function. The feed is chewed better and longer by the addition of fiber-rich raw materials. It is very important that chewing is improved and prolonged because the grains cause the acidity in the stomach to rise. The increase in acidity is unnatural and uncomfortable for the animal. Because more is chewed, the animal has to produce more saliva. The saliva in turn neutralizes the acidity in the stomach.

Digesting force feed

Since force feed is digested faster than roughage, extra fibers must be added to the force feed. The added fibers promote intestinal activity and slow down the digestion process of the force feed.
